SUBMISSIONS ARE OPEN!
The Stark Color Picture Prize was established by over fifty donors in 2016 in order to encourage filmmakers to make stories about the value of people who bring diversity to Stark County.
Filmmakers can submit their films to the Canton Film Fest anytime from now until April 13, 2018. Films must be short documentaries, and they must focus on someone who identifies as "different" than the mainstream in Stark County, Ohio. These subjects can bring diversity through race, ethnicity, immigration status, sexual or gender identity, and through possessing disability or being differently abled.
The short documentary films will be juried by a panel of qualified filmmakers and diversity leaders. Find out more about the prizes by clicking on this link.
